Senior Marketing Manager – initial period of six months maternity leave – salary upon request Our client is a well-known global publisher with leading brands within the areas of science and education. This specific position serves to work for an open access publisher within the science sector that publishes journals across a wide array of disciplines including the life, physical, chemical, applied sciences and humanities as well as in clinical medicine. The position is for a full-time Senior Marketing Manager to cover an initial period of six months maternity leave. This position will report into the Global Head of Marketing and will be responsible for developing tactical marketing campaigns that promote the publishing brand and its new journal launches as well as provide reports on all marketing, web, and input/content marketing activities. The key responsibilities for this position include:
• Implementing an approved marketing strategy for brands’ marketing as well as new journal launches • Initiating, developing, tracking and testing a range of marketing communications to drive online usage and promote registrations, submissions and content use • Preparing promotional campaign reports and other marketing reports including ROI measures and using Webtrends/Google Analytics to evaluate website activity • Employing social media and other digital tools to magnify and extend marketing activities • Managing and reporting on marketing spend
  The successful candidate will have extensive marketing experience, ideally from a science, technology or medicine background, though this is not obligatory. Online publishing and experience of working on open access platforms is just as relevant. To apply, or for further details please mail to
