London: Portfolio Manager – 50K base + Com + car (OTE of up to 70K+)
This role serves to head up a major portfolio of international events coupled with publishing brands. They are very much the leader in their sector.
Our client is a FTSE 250-listed global media company based from central London.
The successful Portfolio Manager will have significant exhibition experience, ideally in an international context. Central to the role will be management of a sales team, so a robust sales history is also key.
Key day-to-day tasks of the Portfolio Manager include:
- Leading, motivating and managing the sales team to perform to target.
- Taking full responsibility for achieving budgeted revenue targets and delivering accurate revenue forecasts and annual budgetary projections
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities to expand and develop working relationships
- Delivering group and board level product and solution presentations
- Keeping up to date with market trend and competitor activity
- Extensive exhibition experience across UK and international events
- Team management experience
- Ability to build and nurture strong relationships internally and externally including working with marketing, PR and JV partners
