As the international break has started and the transfer window has now closed, here’s a quick summary of the state of the media sales league after the completion of Week 3. Firstly, let me note that the standard of the league looks to be very high. A fantastic performance after the first few games saw Elliott Dennahy of the FT scale the dizzy heights of 598 from a total number of 2,754,250 so massive congratulations to him. photo   Elliott’s now in second place after a consistent performance over 3 weeks from RBi’s Michael Brooks whose Reem Team III leads the Media Sales Fantasy Football league ranked 1726 nationally. His previous best finish was 133,813 in 2010/11 so this will be some achievement if he can remain so high. Yours truly is running in third place. To RVP or not to RVP? I note that only 3 out of the Top 10 and 1 out of Top 5 in our league have RVP in their team. The transfer window didn’t see too many big name moves in the FPL. So much hype and yet such little action. The Rooney saga was just painful. Still, with Fellaini to Everton, Ozil to Arsenal and, er, Jonjo Shelvey to Swansea, I imagine there are a few fingers twitching at the wild cards. Good luck. #mediasalesff
