Media Sales Fantasy Football League
As you would expect, there’s been lots of change in a league that was only reporting one week’s data before Saturday. As time goes by we’ll see who rises to the top and who joins the likes of Barnsley, etc., as relegation strugglers. He’s not top of the league but Ben Robin of Fiksu (provider of mobile app marketing products) had an incredible week placing himself 3500 nationally. It’s a pretty good looking team too so I expect we’ll see you near for the top for a while Ben. Are you a Spurs fan by chance?

Top Team GameWeek2
Being a Liverpool fan, the biggest news as far as I was concerned this weekend was Man United’s second abject performance on the bounce (let’s ignore last night’s result). I’ve backed them in my team with Young and Mata but their 3-4-1-2 formation just doesn’t seem to be working. Van Gaal seems to have a real problem on his hands as it’s not just formation but apathy. Do RVP and Rooney still believe? The amount of money reportedly being spent in transfer fees (Di Maria et al) is worrying too. With the Glazers taking hundreds of millions out of the club, there’s pressure for things to change rapidly. Anyway, for those holding Man U players their value is dropping. That said, their fixtures are still good. So it’s the old form vs fixtures debate.

Here’s the Media Industry Fantasy Football League top 15 after Week 2, with Scott Woodland coming in at top spot.

This is Scott’s first season playing the game and he’s made no transfers yet. Not bad Scott, but two defensive midfielders? As an aside, Scott’s a bright young talent looking to move into the media sales industry (he’s experienced in bus dev elsewhere) so message me if you’re looking for a good person on your team and I’ll put you in touch.
