Group Advertisement Manager – South London – Generous basic and commission Our client is the publishing arm of a US-owned global information company that employs over 8000 people worldwide covering industries ranging from energy and power to transportation, manufacturing, defense and security. This position serves to head up all global advertising and sponsorship revenues across a portfolio of five publishing brands for print, digital, online, email marketing and events requiring management of a team of sales professionals. In addition the role includes management of an overseas network of sales agents for other key titles within the business. The titles are fully paid-for, demonstrating their worth to the audience and, consequently, to advertisers. Furthermore, a new website has just been launched for the brands to supply much greater digital inventory and options to advertising clients. Key responsibilities of the role include * Motivating and mentoring a sales team and network of international agents to optimise performance and deliver against revenue targets * Take ownership of a selection of key accounts and lead from the front * Recommend new ways to generate greater revenue from new packages and opportunities * Submit strategic and tactical plans for how the business will develop along with weekly forecast reports and other correctly detailed reporting * Some international travel will be required to meet with clients at major international events Key requirements of the candidate include * Significant experience in B2B media sales of creating and managing a successful sales division * Work on international brands is preferred but not obligatory * Experience of developing products and generating revenues across multi-platform marketing solutions * Robust leadership skills coupled with a gregarious personality * A good working knowledge of Excel for reporting with an eye for detail To apply, or for more details, please supply your CV and we will be in touch: manu@manu-forti.co.uk
