Global Sales Director – London – Base of 80K plus bonus Our client is a leading provider of content, consulting and conferences for the global energy industry. The company has been in business for over 60 years and this role will encompass responsibility for teams based in London, the US and the Middle East. Three regional heads will report into the Global Sales Director who, in turn, manage teams beneath them. Key responsibilities of the role include:
  • maximising long term revenue, profit and growth by implementing international sales strategy
  • manage transformation in the business from the sale of products to services, such as the sales of licenses
  • develop and implement a new sales commission structure
  • manage three regional sales heads who, in turn, manage teams from London, US and the Middle East
  • drive new business from the teams whilst also liaising closely with major accounts to build upon existing accounts
Key requirements of the candidate include:
  • Significant experience in B2B sales of creating and managing a successful sales division
  • International experience including managing staff across multiple locations
  • Experience of developing products and generating revenues across different products and services such as subscriptions, events, consultancy, publishing solutions
  • Experience with enterprise licence business models is preferred
  • Experience in the energy industry is preferred but is not required
