Event Sales Manager/ BDM required for portfolio of Telecommunications events. OTE of 60/70K+ (consisting of a base of 40K+ plus commission). My client is a specialist publisher and event organiser in the B2B and Consumer Telecommunications sectors incorporating mobile, wireless, network, etc. The business is a portfolio of publishing brands connected to events and the latter are experiencing high growth. Indeed, a recent soft launch for a new awards evening has proved to be so popular that the event will launch soon. The Event Sales Manager will be required to win sponsorship in order both to launch new seminars, awards, round tables and to build on existing relationships to develop existing event revenues. Sector experience of telecommunications or of a related sector technical will prove to be invaluable in the role when approaching senior decision-makers. Furthermore, the role requires a senior sales professional with real gravitas in order to persuade the head-strong buyers in this industry. Substantive experience of sponsorship sales for awards, round tables, seminars, etc., is required too. One can expect an OTE of 60/70K+ with a base in the 40K+ ‘bracket’.
