Account Manager: London – OTE 36K+ (consisting of 28K base + com)
Our client is a FTSE 250-listed global media company based in central London. Employing over 5000 members of staff globally, our client runs numerous high profile events plus many marketing-leading publishing brands.
Due to continued growth, and ambitious plans, they are seeking a motivated Account Manager to join their team on a brand which focuses on luxury and high-end travel clients. Think of the most expensive hotels, cruise liners, etc.
The successful candidate will run a leading title dedicated to the industry which goes to industry professionals that promote travel to luxury destinations.
Key day-to-day tasks of the Account Manager include:
- Ensuring agreed sales targets and deadlines are met
- Maintaining and building relationships with existing clients/ new clients
- Attending industry events and networking when possible
- Understanding market trends and developments to maximise sales opportunities
- Successful media sales experience
- Experience in dealing with luxury clients is preferred
- Proven experience in a disciplined sales environment
- Ability to hit targets and thrive in the market place
- Resilient, determined and able to work under pressure
